Melissa Grody doesn’t think it’s ever possible to have knowledge and experience in too many different subjects. In her work as a virtual assistant, Melissa constantly devotes herself to learning about new fields, assignments and projects quickly in order to give her clients the informed assistance they need to get the job done right.
Persistence and a willingness to keep asking the smart questions are hallmarks of the way Melissa works. Her clients need never worry that a project will be incomplete because of insufficient understanding on her part — she’ll make sure she’s up to date and ready for action.
With her flexibility, poise and a natural inquisitiveness, Melissa’s clients often find that she’s an absolute joy to have as an assistant.
Beyond ingenuity and quick learning skills, Melissa is also a professional writer and enjoys working on projects that require her to make good use of her training in that field. She believes that a virtual assistant’s greatest value to the client is saving them time and money without ever sacrificing excellent customer service, and she strives to provide those qualities for her CVA clients.
Melissa began building her career at Waynesburg College in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, where she was a Bonner Scholar. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, gaining skills that she uses on a daily basis in her current profession as a virtual assistant.
She also has a background in customer service in her work following graduation for OSI, where she handled calls, collections, training and staff support.
Melissa is a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, where she earned recognition for her enthusiasm and fundraising skills by taking home the Biggest Fundraiser award for the organization.
